Austin Champion Earns Dual Recognition in Super Lawyers’ Annual List

DALLAS, Texas (Aug. 17, 2022) — Champion LLP is pleased to announce Super Lawyers has named Austin Champion to the 2022 list of Super Lawyers and Rising Stars. This is the first time Champion has been eligible for inclusion in the elite Super Lawyers list, a list that recognizes no more than 5 percent of attorneys in each state.
This is the tenth time Champion has been named to the prestigious Rising Star list, which recognizes attorneys aged 40 and younger or who have been in practice for 10 years or less. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.
Published by Thompson Reuters, Super Lawyers recognizes attorneys who have “attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement” using a rigorous multi-phased process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area.
Champion is a business and intellectual property trial attorney who primarily works with companies and individuals involved in complex, high-stakes business and intellectual property disputes. Austin also advises businesses and entertainers in connection with building, protecting, and enforcing their brands. He is a 2008 graduate of Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.
Champion again joins partners Theresa Melia and Mark Torian who have also been recognized by Super Lawyers.
