Greg Roper is a senior associate attorney in the firm’s Commercial Real Estate Transactions and Corporate Transactions practice groups. Greg aims to deeply understand his clients and their business objectives to provide solutions that are effective and align with their goals.

Greg’s real estate practice involves assisting in the representation of owners and developers in the acquisition, disposition and development of various commercial assets, including travel centers, self-storage, mixed-use, multifamily, office, retail and industrial properties. Greg also assists clients with the preparation and negotiation of purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, conveyance instruments, deed and use restrictions and the review of title documents, surveys and other due diligence items. He also has experience handling commercial, retail and industrial leasing matters.

Greg’s corporate practice involves mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, private securities offerings and general corporate governance matters.

Originally from Fort Worth, Greg received his undergraduate degree from George Mason University and taught English overseas after college. Greg is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin School of Law. Greg lives in Dallas with his wife, Carlie, and their chihuahua, Javie.
